What am I upto these days? 

Well, I’m currently a Mummy to Saffron and Indigo! And housewife to Tommy! Not quite where I planned to be in my career at this stage, but given that being a stay at home Mum is apparently equivalent to putting in 2 full days work I'm not exactly sitting around doing nothing!  I was also writing articles on environmental interest issues for a local publication ( - click to see them) as well as doing freelance environmental work while we were in China.

I still speak pretty ropey Mandarin Chinese these days and Saffron is completely bilingual so I try to keep my mandarin up to speed.

In HK I was playing lots of hockey and was captain of a very sociable team called the Evils, which is part of a club called Valley. You can see pictures of my team on our photo albums page. Since having Saffron I don't do quite so much sport and keep fit by running around after her! We haven't found much in the way of sports here in Abu Dhabi!
